Rural Health Value is a national initiative funded by a cooperative agreement from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP). The current program (2023-2027) is titled Rural Health Innovation and Transformation Technical Assistance (RHIT-TA).
Our Rural Health Value team:
- Provides technical assistance to support new healthcare delivery system approaches in rural communities and disseminate such information to healthcare providers, partners, and policy makers
- Provides direct technical assistance to help rural healthcare organizations successfully adapt to new care and payment models
- Engages communication strategies to raise awareness of the unique challenges rural providers face when implementing value-based care
- Collaborates with national partner organizations representing health care organizations, payers, state agencies, and others to both inform our work and incorporate or enhance the rural value-based care and payment perspective in their work

- Infuse the rural perspective in organizations designing, implementing, and evaluating value-based care and payment.
