The RUPRI Center for Rural Health Policy Analysis, based at the University of Iowa in collaboration with personnel at Washington University in St. Louis, is a nationally recognized resource for research and policy analysis focused on changes in delivery and finance of rural health services. Center faculty, staff, and graduate students conduct original research in the topical areas of insurance availability and affordability, Medicare policy changes with a focus on Medicare Advantage and accountable care organizations, development of rural delivery systems (including pharmacy services and long-term services and support), public health, and social drivers of health. The mission of the Center is to provide timely analysis to federal and state health policy makers, based on the best available research.




Stratis Health, based in Minnesota, is an independent non-profit quality improvement organization whose mission is to lead collaboration and innovation to improve health. The organization develops and guides health improvement initiatives at local, state, and national levels that result in better health and care for people and communities. Stratis Health’s expertise includes providing a range of technical assistance and training to reach varied audiences and fostering meaningful engagement to spread knowledge. The organization continually innovates to meet the learning needs of organizations as they test and implement new payment and delivery models. Improving rural health quality is a longstanding organizational priority, and Stratis Health engages rural providers in projects and demonstrations that meaningfully shape local program development and care delivery.
